No results found.This Country Programming Framework (CPF) sets out three priority areas to guide FAO partnership and support with the Government of Turkey - bringing together innovative international best practices and global standards with national and regional expertise during four years from 2012 to 2015. This document has been formulated through extensive consultations with relevant ministries and national institutions as well as development partners, including United Nations Country Team (UNCT). The CPF pri ority areas are also consistent with FAO regional priorities for the European and Central Asia Region and the new Strategic Objective Framework. Effective partnerships will be pursued with the interested stakeholders during the implementation of FAO CPF 2012-2015 in Turkey. Ministry of Development (MoD), Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MFAL) and Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs (MFWA) are the main partners of this framework for ensuring GoT’s participation with contribution of agricultural NGOs. -

2021The report is an output of a two-day webinar which was organized as part of the project titled “Capacity Development for Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture Management in Central Asia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey (FISHCap), which was developed under the FAO-Turkey Partnership Program (FTPP II). The aims of the webinar were twofold: (i) to acquaint participants with principles and techniques of carp farming in Eurasia and (ii) to share knowledge on modern and innovative technologies in carp farming. More than 100 participants, including experts, farmers, researchers, representatives of fishers/fish farmers associations and companies, and ministerial staff, attended the webinar. -

The CPF was prepared through a participatory and iterative process in close and direct cooperation with relevant ministries and national institutions as well as development partners including the Ministry of Food, Ag riculture and Livestock (MFAL), Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs (MFWA) and Ministry of Development (MoD) of the Republic of Turkey.
