No results found.This scale-up note aims to raise awareness of the achievements of the FAO's partnership with the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), while providing a concrete example of the Community-Based Field Placement Programme implemented jointly with RUFORUM in 2018 in four African countries ( Benin, Uganda, Kenya and Lesotho). This programme helped to strengthen knowledge exchanges between rural communities and academia on innovative approaches to sustainable agriculture and rural poverty reduction and to develop capacities of the youth. -
