Synopsis (short abstract) "The FAO methodology to measure progress towards the achievement of SDG targets and goals" aims to provide a comprehensive and unified description of the progress assessment methodology used by FAO, and to serve as a tool to support the interpretation and understanding of the results published in two FAO publications: "Tracking progress on food and agriculture-related SDG indicators to monitor the progress of food- and agriculture-related SDG indicators" and "FAO and the Sustainable Development Goals". Additionally, it can support the interpretation of the progress assessment visualizations disseminated through the SDG Indicators Data Portal and on the SDG module of the Country Profile Tool.
